Laundry Day Incites the Cat

Laundry never excites me, altho my former cat adored sleeping in the dirty clothes that I wore to the barn.  She also got quite excited when I made the bed and enjoyed being made into the bed, crouching in the center as the sheets and blankets were put on over her.  She would form a lump as everything was tucked in.  Later the lump would ooze toward the edge of the bed and magically melt away.  The cat would emerge from under the bed, on the other side, like some sort of magic trick.
