SHARK ANATOMY (revised 2001) GENERAL INFORMATION - 1. Attendance is important since most activities will be completed during class. Attendance will be included in student's grade. 2. All assignments are due at the beginning of class unless otherwise noted. This means assignments must be completed BEFORE arrival to class. "Late" grades will be issued for any assignments handed in after the assignment due date. 70% will be the highest grade given on any late assignment handed in before the test on the material covered in the assignment is given. 50% will be the highest grade given on any late assignment handed in after the test on the material covered in the assignment is given. 3. Each student will be given a Photo Manual and Dissection Guide of the Shark by Fred Bohensky, Ph.D. (Avery Publishing, 1981). A limited number of copies of Laboratory Anatomy of the Shark by Laurence M. Ashley and Robert B. Chiasson (Wm. C. Brown Publishers, 1988) will also be available for reference in the classroom.
