Trio III Color Study

Original Serigraphs: a planographic process

All prints are hand pulled by the artist. Using a drawing, or “cartoon” (no color or value renderings), as a guide, silk-screens are prepared for one color at a time. All areas except where the artist wants color to go through are masked, using paper stencil, glue, or photo sensitive materials. Transparent or opaque ink is forced through the silk onto registered paper. After each color is applied, the screen is erased and prepared for the next color, thus limiting the edition. No mechanical methods of reproduction are used. All prints are hand signed by the artist.

Pen & Ink Renderings

The artist may be commissioned to do drawings in pen and ink of any subject. Her specialty is architectural renderings. A brochure she designed for downtown Flint galleries contains her drawings of non-profit galleries and museums in downtown Flint. The Whaley Historical House is pictured here.
