The role of the Area Team is to effectively support, manage, and service the needs of the Groups. Led by the Area Commissioner, the team is comprised of Service Scouters called Group Commissioners and other service personnel known as "Deputy Area Commissioners" or DAC's as well as an Area Youth Commissioner.
