Our continued advancement toward equal rights rests squarely on our shoulders. For those of us who may not be able to offer financial support, what about giving of your time? Instead of spending time in bars, why not help support one of our local community organizations with volunteer time? There are many organizations out there that need our talents.

I'm one of those people who is unable to financially support our community; however, I give of my time by serving on two of my communities non-profit organizations Board of Directors. I have used my skills in promotions and fundraising to help build the membership of PFLAG South Orange County, CA (Parents Families and friends of Lesbians and Gays). I work with many local organizations helping them in their fundraising efforts. And last but not least is my web-page, here I help those that may not be comfortable going out into their community looking for gay resources, I've compiled a list of gay resources that can be found right here on the net.

I hope you have been encouraged to get involved with our community and to those of you who are out there working hard for our community I offer you my heartfelt thanks.
