The Brown County
music scene, outside of the Opry,
is small but interesting. Local bands can be seen at The
Pine Room Tavern, The Story Inn,
Brown County Inn and The
Seasons Lodge. Live music can also be heard outdoors occasionally
at the Kneadmore Community Field
(home of Otterfest), Bill
Monroe Memorial Music Park and Campground, Chateau
Thomas Winery and Harvest Moon Pizzeria. Street musicians often play
outside the Artists Colony Inn,
Mountain Made Music and at the gazebo in downtown Nashville.
Artists like Crooked
County, Harsch Reality, Cox
Brothers, Zion Crossroads, Jansen Jones and the Bloomingtones, Robby
Bowden, Slats Klug and a host of others provide excellent entertainment
in Brown County and the surrounding area.
