Dues: $10 initial joining fee for each new OLG. As long as we have a free list, then yearly dues won't be necessary. The $10 initial fee pays for the cost of the OLG pins and postage for mailing pins.

Email Etiquette Policy:

· Jokes: No jokes to the OLG list. A joke list is available to all OLG sisters if you would like to be added. On Line Epsilon has already established one and has graciously invited OLG to share it. The only ones on the joke list will be BSP members. If you subscribe and the moderator does not recognize your name, you will receive an e-mail from their list moderator asking you to confirm you are BSP. · Religious/Political Postings: Please refrain from sending religious postings and political announcements to the list. These issues are very sensitive to some sisters and we want to try to make this fun for everyone. *

·Chain Letters: Please refrain from sending chain letters to the list.

Elections: Elections are to be held annually in March, with the new board assuming duties April 1st.

Voting: Votes are to be decided by a simple majority of those who vote. Ballots are to be counted by two nonboard volunteers. The list of who voted (not how they voted) is to be provided to the board. Then an email to the membership of the numbers of the fore's and against and abstentions will be provided.

Chapter Business: All chapter business is to be conducted by email.

OLG Sisters Names: No last names on web pages or any public postings (BSP mailing list or newsgroup).

No Contact from Member. Every two months, the President will post asking for Roll Call. It is the responsibility of each member to post "Present" to the list and to the Recording Secretary. The Recording Secretary will maintain records of those responses and of those who post to the OLG list. Members who do not respond to roll call or post to the list for three months (two roll calls) will be sent an e-mail asking if they wish to remain in OLG. If the membership does not respond within two weeks to that e-mail, she will be dropped from the OLG membership

Membership Openings. Membership is currently capped to 75 members. When membership openings occur, they will be offered first to the waiting list. If there is no waiting list, the opening will be announced to the OLG membership.

Nonpayment of Initial Fees. For those new sisters who do not pay their initial joining dues of $10.00, a note will be sent from the treasurer reminding the sister to pay or she will not receive her OLG pin.

Special Sisters. Special Sisters. Special Sisters are chosen each January. You are responsible for sending your sister electronic greetings throughout the year. You also have the option of sending snail mail cards.  It is imperative that you please acknowledge to the list, or to your special sister, that you have received the cards.  Remember, having a Special Sister is an optional activity and if you don't have the time, money, nor the desire to participate, it does not effect the OLG membership in any way.
