ŤWhy?ť

Why? Well..... I have always been interested to know where my family came from. That was easy for me because my parents have only lived in the United States for 28 years. I asked the usual question and wanted to know how far back was known about my family surname. What I have found out is the Gleghorn surname originates from the North East part of England, Newcastle area. I have visited and met some family there but I was too young to research the surname information. Since I have been using the Internet I have ran searches to see if anyone has put information on the web about it. As you can see this is the only Genealogy page about these surnames. Once I seen other surnames with close spelling to my own ŤCleghorne, Cleghorn and Claghornť I became curious about the relationship to each other.
