3/26/04 - Discussion on several area railfan
sites have raised the question as to the whereabouts of South
Buffalo Engine #106. It was purchased by the BSOR to be utilized
for parts for the other South Buffalo units. Most of the locomotive
was cut up at the steel plant with the trucks and wheels, the
engine block and parts of the hoods being saved. Here is a photo
of what remains at Hamburg.
