Business Support Services

    An Established Family Business with over 40 year's experience  

- Providing high quality secretarial and related services -

Peter Hanson was a bored Weapons Engineer, who late in

1991 decided that the time had come for a change in his life.

When redundancies were declared at his office he decided to

use his self-taught computer skills to set up his own business.

Business Support Services was conceived and born in 1992.

Angela Chatley was a highly experienced secretary who had

worked at many levels. She had been the Finance Director's

PA and Group Administrator to the Company of Designers,

and had been heavily involved in the Company's flotation in

1990.  In 1992 she too was bored and looking for change.

Shortly after starting Business Support Services, Peter was approached with the offer of a similar local business which he thought would be ideal for Angela.  In 1993 she purchased the business and re-named it Business Support Services.  Both businesses flourished until 1995 when it was decided to merge them at one location and to form a partnership.  The resulting business was greater than the sum of both.

Then in October 1995 Peter and Angela decided to make the

partnership permanent and were married, thus establishing the

"Family" business.

Business Support Services has grown and now provides high

quality secretarial and other related services to a wide range

of local businesses and individuals in and around Chislehurst.
