"IN  FIELDS  OF  HEATHER"

 "WELCOME" to this place I call "In Fields of Heather", where I share a blend of my talents, creative efforts & life experience, including art and writings such as thoughts, ideas, philosophy, poetry & songs. With a background in spiritual/biblical studies, meditation, teaching and counseling,  I dearly enjoy sharing my revelations.

I have a BA degree in the Arts (Art/Music/Drama) from VSU in Valdosta,Ga. I do some painting and sculpturing (with Gideon's masterful guidance, of course). I am a writer/poet with a collection of my works which I have named "In Fields of Heather"©. I've been singing as long as I can remember and have put many of my songs to music.  All of the written material  in the Gideonet Site other than the ones credited to their writers is yours truly.  You are invited to my other pages with some of my Art, poetry and songs.

Sometimes if we'll just take a moment and "be still" a new thought will come that will put things
into perspective. Maybe that's why the old saying "Think before you speak", became so popular.
                                                      It holds a lot of truth ..... and ..... so do you.

       "Much is edified when hesitation gives place to a listening moment,...... before the word is spoken."

           "If you think you're ahead of someone, be still for a moment. Maybe they'll catch up with you."

                    "You can't always do what you love......but you can always love what you do."

                              " If my thoughts were  really free; why do they still remain with me?"
