Jenny and Matt Garrison are coming back for their last year of high school.


                            The Return Part 1

(Jake enters Sharkey's. The rest of the gang is already there. This is the
last week of summer.)

     "Hi Jake!" they gang says. "Hi!" he says back. "Guess who called me
last night?" he says. "I don't know, but it better not have been a girl."
says Tiffani replies.
     Jake and Tiffani are dating. "No, It wasn't a girl. Don't worry, hone.
I love you and only you." he states. " It was Matt Garrison. Apparently
Jenny and him are coming back for this year."
     "Wow! That is great." stated Tony Wicks. He knew Matt and Jenny. They
were original members of the band "California Dreams" to which he also
belonged. Tiffani, Jake, Mark, and Sam were also in it. Sly and Lorena were
their managers.
     "Wow! This is amazing. When they come back are they going to want to
be in the band." asked Sly, one of the Dreams managers. 
     "Well I never thought of that." Jake said. "Maybe they will."
     "Wait a minute. Who is Jenny and Matt? And why would they want to be
in the band?" asked Mark. "Yeah" added Lorena.
     "Well lets start at the beginning. Matt started they band and Jenny
was one of the original members." Tiff said "still following me? Then Jenny
got accepted to a conservatory in Rome. She left and Sam joined the band."
"That is right." Sam said. "Let me finish. Then Matt left and Mark joined
the band. Then we started using Lorena's loft as a practice area. O.K." 
     "I think we got all that." said Mark. "So when are they coming?" Sam
asked.
     "Matt told me they would be there Wednesday and today is Monday."
Jake said. "He is going to call me tonight with their flight info."
     "I wondered how come Matt called you and Jenny didn't call me."
Tiffani exclaimed.
     "Matt said she was really busy with packing. She will probably call
tonight." Jake said.
     " Lets go practice." said Tony. The gang leaves Sharkey's  and goes to
Lorena's loft to practice.

       Practicing "The Way We Are"

     "That was great guys." Sly says. Mark and Sam aren't singing. Tiffani
and Jake are singing since it is their singing.  
     "That is the best we have ever sang." Jake said while kissing Tiffani.
"I know." she said while smiling at Jake.
     "I think we should play She's Not You, Handle it with Care, and
Whenever I think of You. Oh and They Way We Are for the order  of our gig
Wednesday night." said Mark."What do you think?" 
     " I think it is great." said Tony. "All in favor say I" everyone
agrees.
"Well we have that decided. What about Matt and Jenny?" said Tiffani.
     "I don't think we have a choice they we originals." Sam said. "Well I
say we wait and see if they want to be in the band." Jake said.
     "Yeah we had better do that. They may not want to be in the band."
said Mark. "O.K." Everyone says.
     " I will walk you home Tiff."said Jake. "O.K." Tiff replies. Everyone
says bye to Lorena and walk out.
