A Word of CAUTION!

This is a work of creative writing, and as such it contains language and themes that some, particular younger audiences (or younger audiences' parents), may find offensive or overly violent. Additionally, in light of the events of September 11th, it should be said that this work includes material that some may not want to read due to the (distant) connection that this work and these events have. In relation to this I would like to something clear: At one point I mention "crazy" people in the country of Iraq. These people are meant to be depicted as people driven insane by the horrors of war, and a world turned upside down. I, in no way, want people to see this as a generalization of a geographical area, or ethnic group, as my personal views are not that everyone in that particular region is "crazy", so please do not read it as such.

Furthermore, this work is neither intended to endorse or discourage any conflict in Iraq, nor is it intended to make any statements to inflame or scare people about the possibility of the use of chemical or biological weapons in any conflict in or by the country of Iraq. The initial idea and the basis of the plot was written over 2 years ago, long before the events that have unfolded over the last year transpired.

I also feel it necessary to make a warning about the views expressed about Gulf War veterans in this work. These views are not meant to reflect any personal views I hold about the Gulf War, or those who fought in it. Furthermore, I think it extremely unfortunate that some of those who fought in the Gulf War were afflicted with Gulf War Syndrome, and any commentary or depiction of any illness they may have incurred is not meant to be disrespectful nor make light of any injuries they may have incurred while fighting. Finally this work as a whole is not meant to disparage those men and women of the armed services who fought in the Persian Gulf conflict.

Therefore, if you may be offended either by the idea of cannibalism, combat, harsh language, or discussions of anything mentioned above please take heed: I don't want to offend or hurt anyone. Proceed at your own peril. That being said, to those of you left: Read on and enjoy!

Welcomes, and Boring Stuff That the Author Always Wants to Pontificate About

Thanks for visiting this site! I hope you like what you find here, and that it you find that it makes one of the best games out there already even better. Please have a look around, and see what I've written up. There's a lot of it, and hopefully you'll like all of it. I encourage you to read the paragraphs below to find out what this site is, and to find out about a few cautions that Cast Members should take so they don't ruin any surprises.

What You Can Find Here, And How I'd Like To Hear From You

This website is meant to be a complete sourcebook for the All Flesh Must Be Eaten© roleplaying game. This means that within these pages are a complete guide to a world that I have created, including the who, what, where, when, and how of both the past and the present of the universe. My goal when I created this was to be both as complete and as entertaining as possible so that aspiring and veteran Zombie Masters (ZM's) alike would be able to leaf through it and start a one-shot game or a campaign for their players, with a minimum of effort on their part.

As a result, throughout this site you will find everything you need for runnning a campaign in the Deadworld of Just One Too Many... including a history of the fall of society, who is in charge now, hot spots around the globe, and much much more. I am going to try and update what I think is already an extensive site that I have here, with some sort of regularity. Until then, take a look at what I have here. While this site is primarily geared towards ZM's, since it was written like an official supplement, I hope that Cast Members and Zombie Masters alike will find something they will use or enjoy.

Demands and Invitations

This is the section where I get demanding (cue collective groan).

A little background for you. This site is the culmination of over 2 years or so of writing, editing, and re-editing, countless e-mails to my man Ferg (THE main co-conspirator in this project) and several weeks of working on this site. It was originally designed and submitted to the people at Eden Studios in hopes that they'd host it or even maybe publish it (a guy can hope, eh?).

As you can tell, this took me a long time to make, which means I have a lot of time and effort invested in it. It also means that I am eager to see what works and what doesn't, what people like and what people don't, and what people thought of it in general. So, if you've read my piece of work, or even just part of it (although I'd reccommend you read all of it since a question you might have may be answered in some place where you might not have looked) please e-mail me and let me know (whether you though it was good or bad) what you thought of it. Although I don't mind hearing "I loved it" or "I hated it", telling me why you loved it or why you hated it helps me even more. I'm thinking of possibly going to college as a creative writing major (or political science, haven't decided yet) and I really want to know what i'm doing right, and what I'm doing wrong. Therefore, any and all constructive comments are met with extreme gratitude!

So, don't be shy to let me know what your favorite bit was, a piece of Gear you think is misrepresented, details of a one shot or campaign you ran with this setting, or anything else. Thanks in advance for all of you who comment, but please put JOTM in the subject heading so I can discern it from all the random SPAM mail I get. I will try my damndest to reply to your email and answer any questions you have, explain my twisted logic, tell you why Ice Cube is the greatest actor ever, etc.

(Don't worry, I won't really subject you to my thoughts on why Ice Cube is a good actor)

That being said, I've got an invitation for all you hardcore zombie-heads and budding (or seasoned) writers out there. I'd like to think that there is enough infomation here to spark some ideas in people's heads on how to expand the world even more. For those of you out there so inclined I'd love to hear the ideas, even if it is just a short description of an idea or plot strand that popped into your head. Even more than that, for those of you that are super-cool I'd really like to see new archetypes, unit histories, plot hooks, and so on. I definately encourage people to e-mail me with ideas on stuff that they'd like to write, and I'll be more than happy to give any "official" ideas or stance I might have on the subject (if any). Nevertheless, I'll give it a look over and give you back comments if you'd like as well. So get writing, and show me what better stuff you can do than me!

Ok, now on to the Zombies! (Head on to the Introduction Section for an explanation on how to use this site)
