The Power Of Keith
I've always believed in the power of rock & roll,
and especially when it's being played by Keith Richards.
He plays with more heart, soul and sheer power than any other musician, dead
or alive.
Well now I believe in the power of Keith for yet another reason...
On a chilly night near San Francisco in October of 1999
I was looking for some photos on the web of Keith for a live cassette compilation
I was making of the Stones back in their prime. I stumbled thru a number
of Stones websites
before I came upon the link for "Keith Richards..A Tribute To The Man".
I was amazed at the great photos of Keef, and I also was very impressed with
the layout.
I decided to write Cathy, the site owner, and let her know how much I enjoyed
the site.
Well, we started "chatting" a bit online,
and within a month we were talking routinely for up to 3 hours a night!!!
Finally in December, I flew out to meet her, and we had a great time!
Well, to make an already loooooong story a little more brief,
I moved from California in April of 2000...and we're now engaged to be
married!!!!
All of this happened because of our mutual interest in the rock &
roll god himself...
the almighty KEITH RICHARDS!!
Wherever you are, THANKS KEITH!!!
