Important Chapter Message There has been a reorganization of the CBC chapter. Over the next few weeks the various links on this web page will be updated to reflect the changes. A brief update of the major changes are listed below. During the updates, the member and birthday lists will be brought up to date and hopefully the cbc database used by the logging program will also be updated to current information. PLEASE NOTE: The Ten Ten logging program described below DOES NOT work with the new Windows 2000 operating system. Current users (and new users) of the Tenx logging program will find the new program initial install and updates to bring the program in compliance with Y2K events are now available on this web site. Click on the "Ten Ten Logging Link Below". The new version has some enhancements including a new county tracking module. In addition, there is now available an update to make the program a true Win95/98 32bit application. Please follow the instructions given for any download you wish to make. As was true previously, I will announce where one can find the latest version/build number available for download. At this time, the latest version is 4.0. For the 32 bit version, Build 6 is the latest update. For the 16 bit version, Build 5 is the latest update. New users downloading the program should always check the "Bugs/Update" section to be sure you have the latest update. Many thanks to Mike Steele - W4ZYD for his yeoman efforts in "beta" testing the new Y2K updates. Thanks also to the others who either helped or kindly offered their assistance. |
