George Anna Selphe was born 1862 and died 1902.Joseph was then raised by Ellington Family of Ford , Va.

I have been to courthouses,libraries and did my own research in Petersburg, Chesterfield Co., Dinwiddie Co, and have documentation on some of my Ashby's, Phillips,Andrews and Williams .Met personally with Grandson of David Chesterfield Ashby .David Hudson still lives in Chesterfield .
He use to play on the homeplace as a child at Dutch Gap .He is now in his 70's .
