"Michael" & "Johnny"

Sadly, shortly after this picture was taken Johnny and Michael were both stricken with a bacterial enteritis that they apparently picked up at their first dog show.  We came close to losing them both, but Michael rallied at the last minute.  Johnny went to Rainbow Bridge to wait for us.  I know he and Bookie and Grandma Ygerna are having a wonderful time swapping stories about the farm.  He was a wonderful sweet boy and he is missed.

Although we mourn Johnny's passing, Michael continues to be one of our greatest joys.  Because of the near-loss, we feel doubly blessed to be able to share our lives with him.

On March 15, 2001 Rose and Michael presented us with three lovely sons. Michael is pictured here with Rose and their three sons "Cedarbrook Simon Says", "Cedarbrook Sunbird" and "Cedarbrook Sebastian."
