all these years I didn't pursue information but I'd like to
know something about my birth

when I was born, if they had other children,
if they're still alive or when they died.

was moved to the Cradle in Evanston, Illinois

she had 1 brother and 1 sister with mother's last name,

The
information I have is pretty limited. I was supposedly
born on October 20, 1946 in Tulsa, Oklahoma
per the
birth certificate. I was told that I was
adopted through
the state of Oklahoma around Christmas of
1946. The
name my adoptive parents gave me was
Carol Jean Henry.
I was told I came from a very large family
that was very
poor.The
family was believed to have lived in a rural area
possibly on a farm. I was
a sick baby and they could not
afford to care for me. My adoptive parents
were Edwin I.
and Golela N. Henry. The lived in north
Oklahoma City
all of our lives. I had lots of allergies, allergic to milk,
foods, and rag weeds, had to drink goats
milk. Who knows
maybe
my siblings out there had some of the same problems.
We believe due to some features there may be
some
Native American heritage. There is a Blood
condition that
I suffer from that is very prevalent in
Indian women.
(discoid
lupus). I am aware that both of my birth parents
may be deceased, I am looking for siblings.

was born Diana Lee ?? My bmom's supposed name is
Lorainne/Lorraine.
I have 2 older sister's. The story goes that
I was born at the King County
Hospital in Seattle WA. My mother took me
home and kept me for 9 months.
In Dec. of 1954 (this is where it gets really
different) I was either taken away by
the
state and placed for adoption or my mother gave me up because her husband
was
coming home from the war and I wasn't his. Children's homoe society
of
Tacoma WA has given me very little non id
info. I requested what I got 30+ years
ago and I understand they are more giving for
a price now. That leaves me out but
that is not the story here. In March of 1954
my life began and now in 2007 I would
love to finalize that part of my life and
finish my years with the family that God put
me
with in the begining as it should be. My adopted family was great but too many
secrets and lies that I would rather not be a
part of. They are pretty much gone now
and those that are left are keeping the
secrets. It is very sad to hear my children
and myself anwering medical questions with I
don't know. We have diabetes that
runs in the family and quite likely adhd and
diverticulitis. Whatever else we have no
idea. I know that there are people out
there that will recognize this information if they
read
it. I am 53 years old now and would love to put this chapter to sleep in my
life.
Thirty years is a way too long time to be searching for the elusive butterfly.
I was
raised
in Tacoma WA with an adopted brother that is 7 years older than me and a
family that didn't like me nor did they like
having me around. From day one in my
adoption I was an outcast and I would like to

Jim learned in his 20's that he was adopted, he
thought he found out at the age of 15 at
boyscout camp
but the dad denied it then told him to not talk of it again.
We
did get the non ID info July of 2007 that shows
the birth mom was 18 and one of 9 siblings the birth
father was also 18 and he was one of 6 or 7
siblings as well.
After dating for 2 yrs she got pregnant and sped up the
marriage
plans but after applying for the license dad
joined the army and had not been heard from since or
not up to the date of Jan 1960 when she went

my
brother and i were supposedly adopted in 1973 we were told we
were taken
out of our home my mothers name is mary
whitehead. my brother and i are 36-37
maybe but we arent even sure our records are right. we have
come to believe we
were taken without our mother knowing where
we went , we were told we were taken
from tahoca lubbock. we have
reunited my brother and i after 8 years and have
come
to the same conclusion
we
have been lied to . my father is believed to be wj whithead and he
was sent to
huntsville and that is where he died.
we also believe we may be twins rather than
just siblings as we have been
told we are looking for medical
reasons . we just
would like the truth from someone who might
know what it is we were also told we
have two half sisters one bobby lynn
and one tracey lynn. my name is rosemary
and
my brothers name is chris. whitehead is the only name that we know
of the
people
that may have adopted us changed the records i was told
i was born in tarrent
county
but we arent sure of that either. all we have are
copied birth certificates that
dont
look real he has one and so do i .

just wont to know the truth if anybody might have information

has been

known to me that they sometimes changed the
date
of birth for whatever purpose so therefor uncertain
what day I was born. What I do know about Bio
mother
and father is that one of them was allergic
to bee stings
and novacaine and one had exzyma ages at
birth were
22
and 21 unsure of who was what. Let me know if this
