For many years I've searched for a sibling and have just found additional information. He was born in Arcadia Kansas around January, February, March 1928. He was named "John David Teague". His birth mother was "Dawn Avis Teague". His birth father was "Bud Duvall" (not positive of spelling) who was a high school teacher in Arma Kansas - was married & apparently abandoned the young high school birth mother.
It was always my understanding that she went to a home for unwed mothers in the Kansas City area, but have been told this week that she delivered in Arcadia Kansas and within a few days, her parents, John & Bertha Teague, took her to Kansas City and forced her to place the baby in an orphange for adoption.
Even though Kansas is supposed to be an "open" adoption state, I hit brick walls whenever I try to go through any channels.
The birth mother was also my mother. She died in childbirth when I was born July 25, 1938 - at that time she was married to my father Frank Hamilton.
I feel so close to finding my brother and yet so very far away.

Margaret was 3 or 4 when she went with a family we believe had a restaurant at the corner of Carroll Park &Washington Blvd.in Baltimore City, also know as Pig Town .There were 4 children . I know where 2 of the boys are. We don't know if she or baby brother was adopted or not. The family of Margaret's lived about 2 blocks from the restaurant next to a bridge and river on Washington Blvd.. Her youngest brother Henry we know nothing about. I am an aunt ISO my nephew given up for adoption in September of 1972. He was 4 years old at the time and my sister placed him with the NC Children's Home Society in Greensboro,NC. I believe he was adopted in December of 1972 and would have turned 5 years old on 10/28/72. I was able to see him one time while he was there to give him a bicycle on his 5th b'day. No one understands what it feels like to grow up with this uncanny need to have an older brother, only to find out when your 28 that you infact do have that special older brother!!!!!!!! I have paid a lot of money searching. I have always wanted an older brother all my life!! It really seems unfair that I only found out 4 years ago that I really indeed, DO have that older brother. What if he has already exhausted his search? What if he is not searching at all? I have been receiving conflicting stories about his adopted name. All I want to do is to get a glimpse of him, just once, or maybe for a lifetime.

I am looking for my cousin, born 05/01/1971 at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. His birth parents have been longing to find him for years, and as the adoptive family lived in Cedar Rapids at the time of adoption, this possibly could be someone that I grew up with not known it. Birth mother's name is Mary Stoll, and birth father's name is Leeland Miller. They both lived in Anamosa, Iowa, and were in high school at the time. Mary's mother, Marguerite Stoll, arranged the adoption, possibly with the help of a doctor from either Mercy Hospital or the Anamosa hospital, and would not allow Mary or Lee to know what was happening. She says that she knows where the child is, but will never allow either of them to know any of the information that she has. She says that she will "take it to her grave."

birth mom.. My son was born Feburary 17th, 1987 at Columbus Regional
Hospital in Columbus IN.. He is now fourteen years old and very curious
about his birth parents.. The most information I have about the birth mom
is, her name at the time was Stephanie Jordon and I believe she was living
somewhere in FL, but was orginally from NJ, I know she was in college at
FAU, not sure where that is.. I have been successful in finding the
biololigal father (YEAH), but my son still wants very much to find his
birth mom.. He is just very curious about some things.. He has had phone
contact with his birth father and they are going to meet someday soon.. I
have searched for hours and hours on the computer and I am getting no

My name is Rose Garcia-Paddie. I am looking for the baby boy i placed for adoption in 1981. He was born June 30, 1981 at Schumpert Memorial Hospital (now called Christus Schumpert) in Shreveport, Louisiana. An agency called Volunteers of America was used and wont give out any information. I was admitted to the hospital under an alias, as requested by the agency, as Renee Foster. My name at the time was Rose McMenis(married name at the time). Dr. E.E. Dilworth delivered my son due to a mix up at the hospital, was supposed to be delivered by Dr. Edwin Byrd and supposed to be put to sleep but was wide awake and saw him born. He had a beautiful full head of black hair. The only pictures i have of him are the ultrasound pics. i took out of my file dated 5-11-81, and i carry them all the time, everywhere I go. I was 21 at the time. He was supposed to be placed for adoption in either Texas, Arkansas or Alabama. I have biological fathers info. too should he want to know.
