I am sixty years old, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, June 11, 1940 at St. Mary's Hospital.  My mother said she knew she delivered twins, and she heard the nurse exclaim that "she's going to have twins" -- during delivery.  But then she was put back to sleep.  My Mother was a very bright person and always knew what she was talking about.  I have examined my birth records at the hospital, and had them reviewed by nurses.  I have been told that the records are very unusual in their content.  I also weighed 12 pounds, or DID I?? 1949, in Yuba City California, at Rideout Memorial Hospital.  Our

mothers name was Ruby Opal Booth or Wilson.  I believe his ma,e would

was Robert or Bobbie Gene Booth.  I also believe that we were together

for a while, at least a little over a year.  The adoption, would have

been through a private lawyer and would have been a “black market” sort

of event.  My mother had sold two other brothers just a year earlier in

Triplets born July 11, 1943, and were put up for adoption.  My friend went

with one family, but doesn’t know if the other two were adopted into one

family, or two different ones.  The birth was at St. Vincents Hospital in

Kansas City, Missouri, and the birth mother listed is Helen Ewertz from

Maize, Kansas.  My friend believes she located her birth mother 20 years

ago, but she denied the relationship, and asked to be left alone.  Since

that time, my friend has not done any searching, but now because so much

time has gone by, she is feeling the need to pursue locating the two other

I am helping my aunt search for her twin girls-Their names at birth were

Brenda Sue and Linda Lou Brown,  born Feb. 21, 1951 at Hamilton Memorial

Hospital in Dalton, GA.  They were red-headed at birth.  The DOB could have

been changed.  She was living in Dalton at the time they were taken from her

and the date was around July 1953.  She says the judges name at that time

was Dendy or possibly Dandy and the social workers name was Mrs. Harris.

could be Woolsey or Mullins on their birth certificate.  When they were put up for

adoption they were living in Carlisle, AR in Lonoke County, and the adoption was

lifton in the spring of 1958 and might have been handled by the Dept. of Human

Services in Lonoke County, AR.  Birth mother’s name is Julia Mae Witt-Woolsey.

I am searching for my twin brothers who were adopted when they were two

years old.  They were born in Los Angeles at the Los Angeles County

Hospital on March 19,1959. Their names are Michael Kevin and Mitchell

Keith.  I think they were adopted by a family that lived in Southern

California.  I believe they were adopted by a military family or perhaps

someone in government as they spent part of their teenage years in

Germany. The birth mothers name was Lois Lorraine Duckett.  She was 16

years old.  The birth father was Donald Edward Duckett. He was employed

as a machinist. The social worker assigned to their case last saw them

shortly before their 16^th birthday.  She took them to the beach for the

day. I want them to know that they are with us everyday.  My brother Don

and myself were born later, but our mother has always told us of our

brothers that she was unable to keep because of her age.  My brother Don

has twins of his own that he has named after them, and we all have

photos of Mike and Mitch. They are loved, missed and thought of often.

When my mother was a teenager, she gave birth to two boys. Both resulted in adoption. My mother's parents were real strict and she knew there was no other choice. Plus, it was real hard for a single mother in those days to raise a baby on her own, just about impossible. I am doing this search on my mom's behalf. These were two separate pregnancies, and have nothing to do with each other. The following information is all I have to go on right now....

Baby Boy #1: My mother was Juanita Joan O'Brien, and she was 18 years old around mid-to-late October of 1967 when she gave birth to a baby boy at Mercy Hospital in Miami, FL. At the time, she was staying at an unwed mother's home called St. Vincent Hall on the grounds of Mercy Hospital. She never saw him, and he was adopted through Catholic Charities, who ran the home. His father's name was Paul Rice...he was in his mid twenties. Paul Rice was tall and slender with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Baby Boy #2: My mother was 19 years old around the beginning of February 1969 when she gave birth to another boy at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL. This baby boy did stay at an orphanage at birth, but was adopted through the state as an infant. His father's name is Jack Gray. Jack Gray was tall with a nice build. He had blondish hair and blue eyes.

In 1978, our mother gave birth to twins (us).  By then, she was married to our father and 29 years old.  Our names are Amber & Crystal...We were also born in Miami and we still reside in Florida.  :-)  We look forward to the day that we finally find our missing brothers...We love them both very much.  Our mother never had any more children, so there are no more brothers or sisters.  Your fathers probably have children of their own, though.

In 1952 I was born in Maine and adopted in Maine. Sometime between 1959

My adoptive mother told me that the doctor did not know that my birth mom was having twins until after we were born. .  The adoption was handled privately through an Attorney. My adoptive parents were thrilled!  They already had three other adopted children.  We grew up on a farm and have had a terrific life.  My sister and I are both married and very happy.  I have three wonderful children and would just like to know background.  I would love to meet any member of my birth family if they would like.  I don’t want to cause heartache or problems...   P.S. My husband and his twin were born April 23, 1970 in Columbus, Ohio.  They

were adopted together through Stark County Adoption Agency at about 2

months.  Their birth names were Timothy and James Morrow.  Their birth

mother was a ward of the Ohio Youth Commission and was to enter the Job

Corps following their births.  She was 18 when she gave birth to them and,

according to their non-identifying adoption information, didn’t want to give

them up.  The twins would like to meet a member of their birth family or at

least have some information about them.  They do not want to disrupt

Im helping a friend search for her siblings, my name is Kelly .It’s a difficult story to tell,but here goes: Twin males born Keith & Heith Dyer 04/10/74 in Lubbock,Texas.Born to Janet Beatrice Levens.Janet was killed in a house fire when the boys were about 4 yrs.old.They went to live with Janets mother Blanche Levens.Blanche dies a year later but sets up a couple to adopt the boys before she died. My brother fathered a set of twin daughters, while serving in the Army

stationed at Fort Eustis Virginia. They were born, I believe in the year

1980 in I suspect Newport News, or Hampton area. I don't know the mothers

name or the names of the twins, my brother was not married to the mother.

I was told that she took out a restraining order against him prior to

their birth, I was also told that he was paying child support until they

were eighteen. I have called the court system, and unlike Connecticut, I

was told restraining orders are not public information. My brother

recently died, his name was James F Lovell, I am his sister, and would at

least like to contact the mother to let her know the twins would be

entitled to social security benefits if they are in college, and possibly
