Here's something that works like magic: 
Use a sponge to apply color underglaze or glaze to large areas. You get consistent results every time with no streaks or runs.  2 coats of sponging is usually enough, but some of us brush on that first coat and then put on 2 coats of spongework.  Pouf!

Child or adult parties are fun with ceramics!  We provide cake & ice cream or snacks and drinks; partygoers paint acrylics on bisque and take home items or use underglazes and pick up items later.  We can also come to your home, office, church hall or other location.  Makes a great fund-raiser, too!

Pressed ceramic pieces make those perfectly round bowls and cups with little or no effort in no time at all.  How?  They use a machine, dummy!  Handcast items, conversely, require skill, care, and time to create a perfect piece. So they cost a little more. We like both.

Casting--We pour, or cast, over 3,800 molds, including new releases and traditional favorites.
Sourcing--Variety Ceramics will find any greenware or bisque if at all possible and bring it in or direct you to its source.
Services--We will pack and ship your fragile ceramic gift items for you so that they arrive safely.  We also repair, match, and recreate specific pieces if needed.  Just ask!

Bisqueware--Designate any greenware item and we will clean and fire it for you; you  can purchase quality bisqueware here.  We also stock many popular items in bisqueware for your convenience.
Finished Ware--Our resident artisans have a combined experience of 25 years in finishing ceramic treasures.  You can order items finished to your specifications, or allow us to advise you on color and finish selections.
