THE SEA TURTLE: SO EXCELLENT A FISHE by Archie Carr As excellent an introduction to Sea Turtles as exists. Archie Carr was a hero and leading scholar of turtle studies and natural history research. This book, which focuses on Carr's research and work with Green Turtles, is literature and natural history writing at its best. |

BIOLOGY AND CONSERVATION OF SEA TURTLES (Revised Edition, 1995) by Karen Bjorndal Bjorndal is the editor of this collection of the Proceedings of the 1982 Conference on Sea Turtle Conservation. The revised edition inlcudes 14 new reviews by 18 authors on developments in Sea Turtle biology and conservation. The book contains 60 articles in total and covers Biology, Population Status, Conservation Theory, Techniques, and Existing Law as they relate to Sea Turtles. |
