There are over FOUR HUNDRED books covering
the films of Chaplin,

Stage" is the only one which
exclusively covers Chaplin's stagework, before going into
films.
It contains over 550 confirmed appearances
of Chaplin on stage,
between 1899 and November 1913, in
England, Scotland, Wales, Jersey, Guernsey,
Northern Ireland, Southern Ireland,
Paris, Canada and the United States of America -
the vast majority of which were previously unknown.

then you'll probably be disappointed.
