Bridget (Mittie) Kilcannon (Feb 1862 KY-15 Jun 1907 St. Joseph); m. James A. Storm 31 Dec 1879 in St. Joseph MO
There's considerable uncertainty about the parents of Bridget (Mittie) Storm. Her marriage entry at the Catholic Co-Cathedral in St. Joseph, MO, lists her parents as John Killcannon and A. M. Connolly. Her marriage certificate shows Kilcannon. Co-Cathedral listings for birth of Mark has Concannon, John I has Killcannon, Lawrence has Concannon, Louis has Cauncannon, and Elzear has Concannon. Not surpprisingly then, her son Mark, in his eighties, remembered her name as Concannon, which is what is listed for his birth entry at the Co-Cathedral. There were no obvious candidates for her family under the name Concannon, but the 1880 Census shows a Kilcannon family living near to Bridget and her husband in St. Joseph, MO, although the head of the household is Thomas, not John. Mark Storm also indicated that she had been born in Kentucky, her parents had died young, her mother was French, the family had moved to Indiana, and that she had then come to Missouri. Thomas Kilcannon below fits the general outline, although it is hard to fit a Kentucky birth into the timing based on the ages of the other children.
