OUR FAMILY OF PEI

Hello! Thank you for visiting our family! My name is Debbie and I have been owned by this unique breed since 1987, when my first prickly wrinkled bundle came in the form of a first Anniversary present from my husband. His name was Chu-Man. Since that introduction to this truly addictive breed, there have been many ups and downs. The loss of a Grandfather, a Husband to cancer and most recently the loss of some of our foundation stock - gone peacefully to the Rainbow Bridge. But also a new marriage, a new precious baby boy ~ a new b e g i n n i n g.
Through it all, I feel that I have maintained what I originally set out to achieve when I decided to take on the responsibility of breeding ~ puppies with consistence, great personalities and excellent health, without compromising the breed Standard as set forth by the Chinese Shar-pei Club of America. We do not mass produce puppies and only breed occassionally to improve the breed and fulfill waiting lists, mostly through referals. We keep in touch with each and every new owner and offer lifetime continuted support, and have valued the friends we've made along the way.

Our puppies are raised indoors, well socialized with our three children as well as other dogs and our family cat. We are members of AKC and the CSPCA and do local rescue work as needed. We are always happy to speak to other Shar-pei owners or Breeders and greatly enjoy sharing knowledge about this special breed.
