Windows 95/NT
ChitChat! is a text-based chat program for Windows 95
or NT that allows multiple users1 to converse in real
time. It is compatible with the standard UNIX talk protocol, and
the Ytalk program on the UNIX platforms. ChitChat! is
free to all academic and noncommercial home users.2

1 For multiple users to talk
simultaneously, they all have to be using ChitChat! or Ytalk.
2 Academic and noncommercial home users may use ChitChat!
freely. All other users may use ChitChat! for 14 days.
Afterwards, these users must register and pay US$15 for each
machine the software runs on.
