Chip Carvings

I have predominately focused on chip carving for the last

3-4 years.  The mantel clock is featured in Wayne Barton's newest book, The Art of Chip Carving.

In-the-Round

I enjoy creating the periodic in-the-round carving.  The female head was a real challenge and is made in black walnut. 

Pyrography

Pyrography, or wood burning, is a new outlet for myself.  Although not artistic, I enjoy working with new mediums.

The Kid's Page

I am very proud of this section.  When my two boys were younger they 'tagged along' with me to the Northern Virginia Carving Center.  Although school, sports, chorus, and girls have taken over their lives, I hope they continue working with wood in the future!
