The AirBornAgain
Online is going into hiatus.
by Ron Schott, CSA1
Founder/Administrator
Well the time has come to make some
changes. This old computer has served us well since 1997 but
it's tired. It is getting so that it takes sometimes three or
four reboots to fire it up. So bear with me as I budget and
search for a good deal. I was hoping that the CSA MySpace
site would hold us over until new equipment could be procured
but it did not work out.
Memberships are still available. I am still
able to receive Email at ChristSkyd@aol.com or RonD1120@aol.com.
I hope to have the website up and running
again soon.

1:3 that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that
you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our
fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.
Mission
Statement
The
CHRISTIAN SKYDIVERS ASSOCIATION will insure
that every sport parachutist in the world has the opportunity
for Christian fellowship at the drop zone.
Organizational
Concept
The
CHRISTIAN SKYDIVERS ASSOCIATION was formed
in April 1987 and is based, in part, on the Scripture found
in The Holy Bible, Ephesians 2:1-10. The CSA provides sport
parachuting enthusiasts who are believers and followers of
the Lord Jesus Christ a way to recognize one another and
establish fellowship at the drop zone. That recognition and fellowship has extended to
the Internet and around the world. Outside the continental
United States, our members are found in Australia, Canada,
Iceland, Japan, The North Pole, New Zealand, Norway, The
Philippines, Russia, South Africa and Sweden.
The
organizational concept of the CSA is that the members have
the liberty to express their faith and to minister to others
as they are guided by Scripture and The Holy Spirit. There is
no membership fee, no yearly dues, no organizational
meetings, no board of directors, no by-laws, etc. Individual
gift donations and contributions to support the ministry are
accepted. As a member of the CSA you will receive a
membership card with your number and an emblem to sew on your
jumpsuit.
Membership
Requirements
Regular
membership in the CHRISTIAN SKYDIVERS ASSOCIATION
is open to anyone who has made at least one voluntary
parachute jump and has accepted Jesus Christ, in His full
deity, as Lord and Saviour. Associate memberships are
available for those who have not made a voluntary parachute
jump or submit an incomplete application. Honorary
memberships may be issued at the discretion of the
administrator.
Statement
of Faith: Signature required on application for Regular
Membership
I
confess that I am a sinner in a lost and dying world. I
believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He was
crucified to become the propitiation for my sins. I further
believe that He was resurrected from the dead and is alive
today and that only through Him can I be reconciled with God,
the Heavenly Father.
Therefore,
I believe that Jesus Christ is the Lord above all
principalities and powers and that in Him I am complete. I
accept the atonement on His life and His shed blood.
By
my hand, I declare Jesus Christ of Nazareth as my personal
Savior and Lord of my life, in accordance with Romans 10:9-10
and Colossians 2:10.
Goals
and Purposes
Establish fellowship with other
parachutists and their families.
Take the Gospel message of Jesus Christ,
Acts 16:31, Romans 10: 9, to the community of
parachuting enthusiasts.
Minister to one another through the
gifts of God's grace, e.g. as found in Romans 12:6-8.
Psalms
148:13 Let them praise the name of the LORD, For His name
alone is exalted; His glory is above the earth and heaven.
If
you would like to become a member of the CHRISTIAN
SKYDIVERS ASSOCIATION click on the E-mail hyperlink
and send us your postal address. An application will be
mailed to you. Associate memberships are also available for
those not meeting the full membership requirements. Please
include a gift donation to help meet the ministry expenses.
The CHRISTIAN SKYDIVERS ASSOCIATION is not
incorporated and is not tax exempt.

When I started the Christian Skydivers
Association in April 1987 I knew several factors had to be
permanently built in. The first and paramount factor was that
the ministry had to be guided by the Holy Spirit and not what
I thought the Holy Spirit wanted. The second factor that was
obvious to me was that I could not do it alone. And lastly,
the Lord would have to provide for the ministry. In other
words, it is an Alpha to Omega spiritual endeavor. Jesus
Christ, our Lord and Savior, had to be the beginning and the
end.
For twenty years the CSA has survived.
Over 700 skydivers have joined; 723 to date.
In the beginning I thought we had to be
incorporated as a non-profit organization and attain a 501c3
status. After a couple of years the Lord said,
No. It is not a business. The CSA is an informal
system of recognition for the purpose of Christian
fellowship.
More than one jumper came to me with
the master plan to uplift association to a
skydiving mega-ministry. I always politely turned down their
offers. Remember, in the 1980s we had the PTL and 700
Club going full speed. All the Charismatic Christians wanted
to be a part of some kind of super church worship.
On the other end on the ministry
spectrum have been those that picked up on the ministry idea
and ran with it for awhile. Then for whatever reason, they
moved on to other endeavors in their lives. These folks are
the workhorse types of any ministry. They are the two percent
in the church whose ministry is ninety-eight percent of the
work. God blessem.
The skydiving world is changing and
evolving. If you have an idea for the CSA ministry and want
to step in for a season, please do. I am completely immersed
in my work and family responsibility and going to the DZ is
not even in my field of vision. Maybe some day it will be
again but, not now.
If you think the Holy Spirit is urging
you to take on something new for the glory of God through
Jesus Christ seek it out. The keys are always: pray, fast and
study The Word. Get a fresh look at the CSA mission work and
go for it.
This is an exciting time for world
changing events. I encourage you, take a part in the
international stage play. Let your star shine and expose the
darkness.
