Industries produce a comprehensive range of grain, potato, onion and
vegetable crop store monitoring and management systems.
Proven environmental
sensors provide ambient and crop temperatures information, ensuring
cooling or ventilating fans are operated at the appropriate time.
The Relative humidity
fan controller below is normally used for grain drying but we can
provide this equipment with additional facilities like ambient and crop
temperatures sensors. This allows the drying fan to be setup to cool
grain.

Monitoring Systems For Grain Potato & Vegetable Stores. |
Principle of
operation.
The monitor is used to control a fan
ventilating stored vegetables or potatoes. Up to four crop
and one ambient electronic sensors monitor store temperature.
|
 |
| When the ambient temperature is more than 2°C lower than
the average of the crop temperature, the ventilating fan
is switched on. Crop cooling will continue until the
temperature of the stored crop has been reduced to the set
minimum level. The fan will be prevented from running in
frosty conditions. ..Store

| The
controller is used to switch on crop store fans when
ambient air is dry enough to remove moisture from the
stored grain. Extra facilities like crop temperature
sensors can be added to most models

is often less expensive and better to replace a
sensor with a more modern device than have it cleaned and
