	cloud nine can mean a lot of things, but in these times, only
	the band comes to mind. Despite their accolade as "Best	Pop Band"
	at the Rock City News Awards in Los Angeles, cloud nine’s
	soundscapes really don’t seem to fit into any particular category
	of today’s music. That’s because cloud nine takes its cues from
	some of the greatest: The Beatles, Led Zeppelin and Cream, then
	taking their music to a more modern level.

	  As for the fans they only know that cloud	
	nine’s music paints pictures of a psychedelic
	past while offering visions of limitless
	future.	In their first year as a band, they’ve
	completed an MTV-ready video for My Soul, a
	3-song album-quality cassette and the band’s
	debut album will be released in Summer 1998.
	After playing over 50 shows in the Los Angeles
	area, they’ve won over hundreds of fans with
	their dynamic, visual live show and exciting
	music that can whisper, speak or scream.
