Bulma is the daughter of Dr. Briefs and her mother, which has been only referred to as Mama. Dr. Briefs is the founder of Capsule Corporation and the inventor of the capsule. She was 16 when Dragon Ball started and 51 when Dragon Ball Z ends. She is a scientific beauty, and she has a body to match. She was a main part of the storyline in Dragon Ball, but as the series progressed, she became less of a focus.
She met Yamucha and the two became boyfriend and girlfriend eventually. Yamucha lived with Bulma’s parents at the Capsule Corporation. When she grows up, she becomes very touchy and breaks up with Yamucha because he fools around. When he is killed be the Saibamen though, she realizes how much she loved him. She tagges along on the Namek ship because she thinks no one else can fly the ship, and she wants to get Yamucha back. After the Namek saga, Bulma and Yamucha live happily, save for some slip-ups on Yamucha’s part. When Vegita comes and trains in the Gravity room at the Capsule Corp, she gets smitten with him. After the ordeal with the Androids, Bulma has Vegita and her kid, Trunks. Later on, after the death of Cell, the get hitched. During the Buu saga, she does nothing, and just sits there. However, when GT starts, she becomes fairly important again. She builds Gokou a ship to fly around in, and she becomes VERY important when Bebi takes over her body. And later, in the Shenron saga, she creates a machine called the Brute Ray, which emits a high amount of Brute Waves, turning Vegita into Super Saiya-jin 4. That’s about it.
