Dear Sisters and Brothers,

Connie Ashbrook, Director of Oregon Tradeswomen Network, and Madelyn Elder are the voices now heard on Labor's Hour on KBOO ( every Monday from 6 to 7 pm). Kim Caldwell of AFSCME is our acting State VP.

"C.L.U.W." stands for the" Coalitition Of Labor Union Women." The" Oregon Pioneer Chapter" meets every other month. Topics on the upcomming meeting agenda include; nomination of officers, planning future meetings and social events.

We have had some delicious pot luck get -togethers; participated in the Labor Day picnic; Race for theCure; International Womens Day celabration and many more organized activities.

C.L.U.W. and L.E.R.C. will co-sponsor another great WILD conferences- Womens Institute for Leadership Development. Mark your calender for March 13,1999; come join us!

See you at an upcoming CLUW meeting!
