CMM is .. Cooki, Monica, Melissa, Jo and Mary Grace! Cooki Karriem of Clan Karriem (aka Cooki15000) designed and coded the Immortal Ladies Highlander Home Page. Cooki runs her own business, does volunteer work, raises a family, & keeps the rest of our noses to the grindstone. As we’ve said elsewhere, Cooki’s a good yeller! Also a great idea person and organizer. Plus she keeps us laughing a lot, and enjoying our work. If we had her energy, we’d change the world. (We may do it anyway, with her heading our team.) She came up with the idea for our page, and for that we’re forever grateful. Not to mention all the other ideas she keeps coming up with. Cooki’s the courageous one of the bunch, always out in front. And you should hear what she’s planning now! You’ll just have to keep coming back... Monica (aka MonicaPDX2 and MonicaPDX) is our graphix manipulator and has done countless hours of research and writing. She’s also the Immortal Ladies AP Chat Official Logger. Monica has been reading SciFi and fantasy since the early ‘60s, so it’s no wonder she’s deeply hooked by Highlander. Interested in history, archeology, advertising, horses, cats, hand-spinning, making ethnic jewelry, weird humour, learning new things and voraciously reading - she’s always running out of books to read. If we could just get her to stop going down those interesting side-trails when she’s researching! She claims this is much more interesting work than word processing. She still sounds too innocent to be saying all those evil things in the chats, though... Melissa (aka Missi007) is another one of our writers, she also helps with morale. (She is a witty one, that Melissa). Raising a family and juggling the usual harassments of daily life, she’s responsible for the Immortal Tales section of our page and the Immortal Ladies email newsletter. She and Cooki are lucky enough to live close to each other, too. (The other two are envious.) Melissa’s frantically learning more about computers and on-line life while creating humour, which is quite an accomplishment - try it some time. Meanwhile she tends to mull over the relationship between Methos, Mentos and Storck Chocolate Riesen’s. (Don’t ask.) Plus she keeps going back to the subject of quarters in the chats, for some odd reason... Jo (aka MtNittany1) who founded the Adrian Paul Sunday chat and has graciously allowed us to use the Immortal (_|_) Ladies for pure immoral fun! Jo is also responsible for some graphical exchanges and is dabbling as a writer. She’s another one interested in crafts, and sells them regularly. She has several cats and a brave Shiba Inu dog, Simba, who valiantly guards her against baby raccoons. Another interest is forensics - appropriate for someone who was formerly employed by the FBI. Jo is a survivor of Hurricane Andrew, and helped organize her neighbors after the disaster so they could keep eating and start cleaning up. Monica’s trying to persuade Jo and her husband to move to the Pacific NW so we can conspire more effectively. And get to Vancouver... And, Mary Grace (aka Aquelyne, LdyWritr) is a Gemini and in her twenties. Originally from New York, she currently resides in Los Angeles (much to the chagrin of her lungs) with two loverly Siamese cats and a career as an actress, writer and singer. She is a confirmed HL-oholic and thanks [insert name of preferred deity] for chocolate and AP (and any combination of the two). She is also recognizable to any who attended the Gathering III as Methos' first wife, Eve, and wishes it known that she is extremely pleased and flattered to be included in the executive committee of the Immortal Ladies, despite the fact that her initials are much too long to be included in the title.
