mIRC
Welcome to my updated IRC and AOL web page! I have received several email messages from visitors asking about other winsock apps, so I've decided to add a whole section called Winsock Tools dedicated to setting up other internet apps to work with AOL.

What's new? A lot! Aside from updating these web pages to help you run the new mIRC 4.7, I've been hard at work to offer visitors a chance to send in problems with connecting to IRC through AOL so that we may be able to troubleshoot together. This is why I have added the Email section. By answering several questions on an online form and sending it in, I can find out how I can best help you. So if you're receiving all sorts of error messages which the Error section doesn't answer or if you simply can't connect, just visit the Email section to get even more help.

On the upper left hand side of the screen, below the IRC and AOL graphic, is a navigation bar. You can use this bar to get around these web pages. The following is a brief description of the web pages that I have created that at one point or another will help you with accessing IRC through AOL:

Setup: These web pages will guide you through the process of accessing IRC through AOL. In them you will find easy step-by-step information on how to access IRC from downloading to connecting.

Errors: Getting error messages? Find out what they are and what you can do about them. If you're having all sorts of problems accessing IRC through AOL, this is the place to go. Grab a piece of paper and a pen, and click away!

Expert: Are you an experienced IRC user? Get a list of other IRC networks and servers which allow members of America Online to log on to their servers. This gives you more choices of networks to log on to.

Email: If you're still having problems accessing IRC through AOL, simply fill in your answers on the online form provided, and I'll try to email you a solution as soon as I can. It doesn't get easier than that!
