Chris and Cindy Mooney are a husband and wife team operating their hot-air balloon and show horse business in beautiful Woodbury, Conneticut. With over forty years combined experience their motto has come to be "The Memory Makers". Whether gliding gently over the New England countryside in a brightly colored hot-air balloon or gracefully riding a classic show horse, these experiences are certainly special. Mooney Time is invested in helping people create and enjoy their fondest memories.
Chris took his first hot-air balloon flight in the fall of 1977 and obtained his commercial license in July, 1979. He started his own balloon business, Mooney Time, flying mostly corporate balloons, 7-Up in the Philadelphia area and Re/Max in Connecticut.
Chris served as President of Great Eastern Balloon Association, "GEBA", in 1987 and 1988, and Vice-President of the Connecticut Lighter-Than-Air Society in 1990, and President in 1991. Chris has the honor of being the first recipient of the Ted Torek Sportsmanship Award, GEBA's highest.
