GLOBAL PRIORITY MAIL
--------------------
If your order goes to one of these countries and can be fit into
a GLOBAL PRIORITY envelope, it will usually be less expensive and
and faster to have it sent this way. The small envelope will hold
about 10 CDs and the large envelope will hold up to 40 (without
cases). GLOBAL PRIORITY mail can be sent to Aruba, Australia,
Austria, Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Brazil (Sao Paulo & Rio De
Janeiro ONLY), Canada, Chile (Santiago, Valparaiso & Vina Del Mar
ONLY), China (Bejing, Guangzhou & Shanghai ONLY), Columbia, Costa
Rica, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Finland,
France (includes Corsica and Monaco), Germany, Great Britain &
N. Ireland (includes England, Scotland Wales, Northern Ireland,
Guernsey, Jersey, Alderney, Sark & the Isle of Man), Guyana, Hong

Priority envelope. If you're ordering more than this than some or
all will be sent without the cases. Or if you want cases for all
of them you would need to either have the order sent Air Mail -
Small Packet or use additional Global Priority envelopes.
AIR MAIL SMALL PACKET

Global Priority mail is almost always much cheaper than Air Mail.
If your country is not listed above or you want items sent with
the cases, please contact CMX for Air Mail costs. You can also do
surface mail. It takes much longer (usually 6 to 8 weeks) but the
cost is usually much less. For Canada it's usually a little less
expensive to use air mail parcel post but takes a little longer.
Shipping/handling charges are the actual postage plus $3, rounded
to the nearest dollar. Since CMX doesn't know exactly how much a
package weighs until it is shipped, the price given by CMX may be
a little high or low. If lower, your account will be credited and
if higher you'll be asked to add the difference to your next
order.
** Estimated Prices **
The following are estimated shipping/handling costs. Due to the
large range of prices for different package weights and
destinations, it's hard to make an accurate table and people get
either overcharged or undercharged. So it's been changed to
represent actual costs. Charges are now actual postage plus $3
rounded to the nearest dollar. For example if you are in Canada
and you ordered 5 items, you would send $7. Then if postage was
$2.74, it would be $3 + $3 for handling or $6 total. Since you
sent $7, you would be credited $1 to your account.
Air Mail (WITHOUT cases) for CDs and tape. For shipping/handling
on other items such as books, videos, magazines, etc, please
contact CMX first. The prices below are for AIRMAIL SMALL PACKET.
Orders to many countries can be sent by GLOBAL PRIORITY and is
usually much less expensive than the Air Mail price. Please see
GLOBAL PRIORITY MAIL table above.

* Orders are normally send WITHOUT plastic CD cases and have only
the CD and the inserts. If you want the cases included be sure to
list this on your order. Shipping is much more expensive when the
cases are included.
Shipping on orders with things other than CDs and tapes will
usually be much higher. Contact CMX first to find out shipping
price if you want to order records, magazines, books, etc.
If you'd like to get an idea of the total shipping charge:
1. go to the USPS International Rate Calculator,
2. Enter your country name
3. Enter weight of items ordered.
1 CD with inserts but no case equals appromimatly .1 pounds
1 CD with case equals approximatly .3 pounds
Add about .5 pounds for packaging.
Add $3 and round amount up or down to nearest dollar and this
should give you an approximate idea of the total shipping cost.
Keep in mind that some items weigh more than normal so this is
only an estimate.
INSURANCE:
----------
CMX is not responsible for uninsured orders that are lost,damaged
or stolen after mailing. It's rare but it does happen. Insurance
is recommended. Rates are $2 for order totaling up to $50, $4 for
orders up to $100, $6 for orders up to $200, $8 for orders up to
$300, $10 for orders up to $400.
There are several ways to order:
1. International money order in U.S. Funds
2. Cash (U.S. currency) can be sent at your own risk if you wish
(though not recommended). If you do send it,CMX suggests using
registered mail.
3. Cash in your own currency can be sent at your own risk (not
recommended). CMX can accept cash in many foreign currencies,
however there is a $5 additional fee EXCEPT on Canadian money.
(This $5 is what the bank charges CMX when exchanging foreign
currency). If you wish to send non-U.S. currency you should
check first with CMX to make sure it can be exchanged here.
It's recommended that cash be sent registered mail. Please
keep in mind that exchange rates go up and down. You'll be
credited for the US Dollar amount received when this money is
actually exchanged, not what it was worth when you sent it,
whether higher or lower. You may want to include a little
extra in case the exchange rates go down. Otherwise you may
need to send more. Any excess money will be credited to your
account.
4. Travellers' check. Any commonly accepted brand of travellers`
check is fine.
5. Trades or previous CMX credit.
6. Wire transfer: This is very expensive. See information below).
7. Personal Checks: Depending on country these take 20 to 60
days to clear. There may also be an extra fee depending on
your country. If you're planning on sending funds in your
own currency you should check with CMX first to find out if
the bank here will accept it, if there's an extra fee and how
long it will take.
8. Credit Cards: CMX accepts credit card orders via PayPal.com.
They currently accept users from the following countries (if
your country isn't listed, you may want to check and see if
it's been recently added):Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil,
Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Israel,
Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway,
Portugal, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden,
Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Unfortunatly they charge
a fee & percentage to CMX on each transaction so the following
fees are required on credit card orders:
orders up to $50: add $2
orders up to $100: add $3
orders up to $200: add $6
orders up to $300: add $9
orders up to $400: add $12
orders up to $500: add $15
Please include these fees along with your NAME AND ADDRESS
when sending money via PayPal. When paying, you'll need to
provide CMX's email address (cmx@aol.com) and the transaction
amount. It's highly recommended that you send a list of holds
to CMX first and then wait for a reply so that you'll know the
correct amount to transfer. There's no cost to sign-up or
use PayPal (other than fees CMX or other merchants may charge).

If paying by PayPal, you do NOT need to mail or email the order
form. However you should make a notation on your paypal payment
if the name and/or address if different from the information
that PayPal has.
9. Bank Account Transfers through PayPal: You can transfer money
from your bank account through PayPal.com. The same fees apply as
listed above.
The same fees apply as above. Again, please make sure to include
your name and address when sending payment.
10. Western Union: There's an additional charge of $10 (plus any
fees charged by Western Union) to send money this way. Please
email cmx@aol.com if you need specific information for sending
payment.
11. Other: If you want to send payment in some way not listed
above, please contact CMX with details.
When paying in foreign currency you can find a good exchange rate
calculator at http://www.travlang.com/money but you may need to
add 4 or 5 percent to their figure to cover any changes in the
exchange rate.

Wire transfers:The bank charges $12.50 to receive one of these so
you would need to include an extra $12.50 on your order. For
example, if your total order came to $100 you would need to
transfer $112.50. This does not include the fee that your bank
charges you to make a wire transfer (probably at least $15). You
can also transfer more than your order amount and have that put
on your CMX account for future use. For example if your order
was $100 and you wanted an extra $100 on your account, you could
transfer $212.50 - $112.50 for your order and $100 extra for
future use. Then when you want to make another order you would
already have $100 in your account and you wouldn't have to do a
wire transfer or send a money order. You can just send mail or
email with your order. If you want to do a wire transfer, send
email to CMX and the necessary information will be sent to you.
