This is my page for two of the most fun roller coasters around. Lightning Racer at Hersheypark opened in 2000. It's the USA's only racing AND dueling roller coaster. The trains will race side by side and turn and go head to head with each other. There is one section where the trains are playing leap frog with each other. This coaster features the new designed GCI trains; they are single bench just like in the golden age of roller coasters (the 1920s).

To the left is my favorite section of Lightning Racer. I have nicknamed it the "Leap Frog" section. This is where the trains cross and jump each other twice in a row. The shots to the left are of the first leap, one from on the train and one off the train. These two shots were taken by Janis.
