Comments: A good site---as one of the founders of the 6th Texas Infantry reenacting group I felt kinship with those who fought by our side--also as a staff officer with the 1st Confederate Division I hope to meet some of you folks @ Chickamauga till then keep your powder dry...

Ancestor from this Regiment: Pvt. John B. Mills, Pvt. Co.C, 10th Texas Infantry
Comments: It has been very hard to find anything on the Texas 10th Infantry, Texas infantry - Griffin's Bn.,Texas 21st Infantry and the Texas 2nd Cav. I have 5 realatives from Johnson county that fought for the Confederacy. I am new to the Civil War and geneology. I am so glad I found this site. Please let me know if sites exist for these other regiments. I will visit this site often. Thank you.

What did you like best?: The Rosters
Comments: It's good to see a site aimed more at history than just pictures of reenactors for a change. Research is what seperates good reenactors from guys who play 'dress up'.

Comments: My friend is from Texas and was interested in finding out some more information on Texas regiments during the War of the Rebellion and we stumbled upon your site quite by accident. Must say, we are both impressed with the work that went into this web site. I found the casualty list particularly interesting, he found the cemeteries quite interesting.

What did you like best?: The page in general
Ancestor from this Regiment: 1Lt. John Austin Willingham, Adjutant, 10th Texas Infantry
Comments: I am in possession of a federal miniball with which my ancestor, John A. Willingham, was wounded on May 27, 1864. His note wrapped around the bullet says "New Hope Church," but from the date I would surmise it was actually Pickett's Mill.
