[ Ed: John, thanks for your kind comments from the other side of the 'Big Pond.' Yes, we of the 10th Texas Infantry Living History Group consider ourselves to be 'hardcore' living historians; that is, we authentically adhere to the use of researched and documented clothing, equipment; in our portrayal of the common soldier of the Army of Tennessee; while rounding out that impression through military bearing of a command on campaign. I hope that our website has been of assistance to you. ]

Comments: I keep coming back to your site as it is the best online source of information on Granbury's brigade. Our group in Norway portrays the Waco Guards, Co. A, 7th Texas Infantry. While we are not up to your standards of excellence (yet), I absolutely subscribe to your "attitude". We attend one event in the States every year. I have collected a lot of information about the 7th Texas, and would appreciate any pointers to where I might obtain more, if you would care to share some of the results of your research.

Comments: Just wanted to let you know, I've read a lot of good things about the dedication of the 10th to portray the Confederate as authentically as possible. Well done! What events are you looking at next year so we can see you guys for ourselves? Do take in authentic messes who need a home for events in the South and East. We would like to leave the Midwest at least three times a year and travel to your neck of the woods. In other words, we are looking for authentic events and are not afraid to travel. Looking forward to hearing from you guys soon, Steve Acker - Hogg Mess
