What did you like best?: I liked all of it
Ancestor from this Regiment: Pvt. Thaddeus Y. Bryant, 6th&15th Texas Consolidated Regiment
Comments: Thank you for the wide variety of info you have provided on my ancestor's regiment in the Army Of Tennessee. I was greatly pleased to find definitive data on the weapons carried by his unit. I was suprised to find they had been reequipped with captured yankee Springfields and Enfields! Probably a whole lot better deal than the Austrian Lorenz and the choice of any discerning rebel soldier.

Ancestor from this Regiment: 1Sgt. Thomas B. Ross Co. H, 10th Texas Infantry
Comments: I had previously registered as a descendant of Pvt. Richard F. Casey of Co. H 10th Texas Infantry. I didn't make the connection with Pvt. Ross name until this weekend. Interestingly, Richard F. Casey and Thomas B. Ross would have been brothers-in-law, R. F. Casey was married to T. B. Ross' sister. As I said before, yours is a great site.

Ancestor from this Regiment: Pvt. Elijah Thomas Wilson, Co. A, Combined 6th, 10th, 15th Texas Regiment
Comments: My Great grandfather, Elijah Thomas Wilson and his brother James T. Wilson were privates in the 6th Texas Infantry. I believe the 6th, 10th and 15th Cavalry (dismounted were combined in 1863. Just wondered if you know of a site that deals with that combined regiment and what that regiment Names or description might be. Elijah was wounded at New Hope Church and disabled unable to return to duty. James probably died from wounds received at the Battle of Franklin, TN You have a great site! Thanks for all the work that you do and have done.

What did you like best?: The variety of information
Ancestor from this Regiment: Pvt. Josiah Hogue & Pvt. William Hogue, Co. D, 10th Texas Infantry
Comments: The other soldier found sleeping at post #5 was Josiah Hogue. His Court Martial is interesting. He got off on a technicality.
