                                 Crockery Ham

  • crockpot
  • 6lbs cooked ham
  • 1 tbs vinegar
  • whole cloves
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/2 c. currant jelly
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

Place ham in crockpot. Cover and cook on low 5 to 6 hours. Pour off juice; remove rind. Score ham and stud with cloves. In small saucepan melt jelly with remaining ingredients. Return meat to crockpot. Spoon sauce over ham. Cover and cook on high for at least 30 minutes, brushing with sauce at least once more if possible. Makes 8 to 10 servings.

                                        Easter Eggs

  • 1/4 lb.butter
  • 8oz. cream cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. peanut butter or coconut
  • 4 c. confectioners sugar

Soften and mix cream cheese and butter. Add remaining ingredients and chill for 2 hours. Form into eggs and dip in melted chocolate.

                                     Easter Nests

  • dark chocolate candy
  • chow mein noodles
  • jelly beans

Melt the chocolate and let it cool slightly. Mix the noodles into the chocolate carefully so you don't break them into smaller pieces. When the chocolate is cooled sufficiently enough to handle, mold this mixture into small bird shaped nests. Before the mixture has time to harden, place the jelly beans or small candy Easter eggs in the bowl of the nest. They will stay put when the mixture cools. Easy and fun to make. Use your imagination as to the items you could place in the nests.
