Concert and Workshop Planning

We will be happy to work with your parish or diocesan team to create a concert and/or workshop experience suited to the needs of your community. Some of the types of things we do include:

Preparing for Eucharist

Look at liturgy preparation again through the lens of ritual music. How can we do better our primary task as music ministers: the Sunday Eucharist?

Days of Renewal/Evenings of Reflection

  • Gather the music ministers for a "shot in the arm," a day of renewal in Lent, a time for reflecting before or during Advent, singing, and growing in ministry together any time of year.
  • Parish days of reflection and renewal for Advent and Lent: Use music to explore the great themes of incarnation and the paschal mystery, or take time to reflect on the baptismal promises.
  • Tailor a day of renewal for your parish liturgy team and ministers to suit your own needs.

Christian Initiation: Rites and Music

Revisit the rites of initiation and consider the important role of ritual music.

Choir Festival

For young people (elementary school-high school) or adults.

Rory, Gary Daigle, and Theresa Donohoo are available as a trio or individually, and would love to come for a weekend in your parish or diocese. A typical event might include a Friday night concert, and a Thursday night or Saturday workshop. Other schedules can be accommodated as well. Workshops are available on a wide range of topics suited to the needs of your local parish community and its ministers.

Other workshop topics include:

  • Planning of Ritual Music for Sunday Eucharist
  • Triduum Celebrations
  • Parish Adaptations of Morning and Evening Prayer
  • Skill Sessions for Vocal and Instrumental Ensembles
  • Reading Sessions
