Best of the Pet Sites Award

I, for one, know how hard it is to design and maintain a web page. And Corgis have a much harder time since keyboards weren't meant for paws. I have made several awards to give recognition to all the great webpage developers out there. Look over the requirements and if you feel your site is qualified, please fill out the application form.

Requirements

1. You must have a pet related web site, in ENGLISH, no cyberpets please. It doesn't matter what kind of pet, dog, cat, bird, etc. We are looking at the quality of the site, not the type of pet.

2. Sites cannot contain or promote pornographic material, controversial subjects, animal abuse, or links to such.

3. You must be able to receive e-mail attachments. I will e-mail you the award if you win.

4. Pages should be easy to navigate. You shouldn't have to keep returning to the homepage to get anywhere.

5. Frames are ok as long as they work properly. We don't like getting stuck in anyone's frames.

6. Pages should load fairly quickly. We take points off for too much animation and graphics.

7. No broken links or images. No "Under Construction" signs.

8. Pages should contain original work. Sites with nothing but links to other people's pages will not be considered.

9. Sites must be "real" webpages; community pages/groups such as Yahoo, MSN, & Smartgroups will not be considered.

10. Sites should try to educate people on their breed or species, not just show off pictures of their cute pets. (I cannot stress this one enough, links to education don't count!)

11. If you win one of our awards, you must link it back to our homepage. We will then add your link to our winners' page.

That just about covers it! You don't even have to sign our guestbook.
