Located three miles north of Historic U.S. Highway 66, the Read Ranch can be found by exiting the Turner Turnpike eastbound at the Wellston exit, or westbound at the Chandler exit. Follow the blue Dept. of Tourism signs to the ranch.
The Burlington Northern Railroad spur is three miles straight south of the main gate, just across U.S. 66. The 4-lane divided Turnpike, Route 66 and the railroad run aproximately paralell to one another from Oklahoma City to Tulsa (about 90 miles). All three routes support uninterrupted cellular coverage from the two major cities. Turnpike speed limit is 75 mph, U.S. Route 66 speed is 65mph, except as posted in municipal areas.
