Actually, in true Siberian style he doesn't bark at all!  Well, rarely --- only when he's REALLY excited or when something's REALLY wrong!  He's definitely NOT a guard dog!  Sometimes he makes a sort of "woo-woo" sound to say "please" for something; otherwise he's normally very quiet.

Copper is a 4 year-old Siberian Husky mix (about 90% Siberian Husky & Finnish Spitz).  Some Afghan or Saluki might be in him too - given his extremely deep chest & long body - great for running.  He also relies on his nose more than any other dog I've ever owned.

We adopted Copper in April 2000.  He's a very clean dog, always grooming himself, so that even with his double coat he never has any "dog odor."  His friendly & trusting nature hides the struggles he's faced & as you'll see, those struggles must have been immense!
