Dimensional Pumpkin Potholder by Priscilla Hewitt Copyright©2001 Priscillas Crochet
This potholder is shaped like a catchers mitt, so that when it hangs on the wall it looks like a 3-dimensional pumpkin.

Finishing Matching the fpdc ridges to those opposite them, fold potholder in half so that it forms a bowl shape. With green yarn, sew 5 sc of the stem ring through both thicknesses of round 17 of the potholder. With pumpkin yarn, sew through both thicknesses of the potholder along the fpdc ridges to keep the layers from separating. Weave in all ends. |
