  • Experience - Twelve years of project management experience at CCI Cryogenics (Allentown, PA) managing all cryogenic and gas processing equipment projects; simultaneously managed technical staff of twelve engineers and designers; managed projects ranging from engineering studies to multi-million dollar turnkey process plant installations; earned bonuses of $40K and $100K for early completion of critical projects for two major industrial gas companies; seven years experience at Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. as Senior Machinery Engineer with responsibility for specification, selection and startup of rotating equipment in hydrocarbon, chemical and air separation plants

    Chief Engineer (Gerry N. Gottier)

  • Education - BSChE, University of Pennsylvania, 1979; MSChE, University of Houston, 1981

  • Experience - Five years experience at CCI Cryogenics (Allentown, PA) as lead process engineer responsible for process system design and development, flowsheet development, specialized equipment design, startup and troubleshooting; industrial system designs include nitrogen liquefaction and the recovery, purification, and liquefaction of helium; research system designs include refrigeration support systems for testing of superconducting magnets and SDI-related high energy weapon system; ten years experience at Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. concentrated in cryogenic process engineering with additional experience in heat transfer research and computer modeling; design and startup experiences include world scale nitrogen rejection, helium recovery, and LNG facilities

    Chief Designer (Richard S. Brichta)

  • Experience - Twenty-two years of experience at CCI Cryogenics (Allentown, PA) as chief designer, supervising the drafting room including the breakdown of flow diagrams and specifications into individual drafting projects, initializing layouts for engineering review and completion by the design group, AutoCAD training for the past seven years; five years experience at Gardner Cryogenics as a designer: responsible for the layout and detail of helium containers, storage dewars, superconducting magnets, and vacuum jacketed equipment

    Project Engineer (Karen M. Renninger)

  • Education - BSChE, Pennsylvania State University, 1987

  • Experience - Eight years of engineering experience at CCI Cryogenics (Allentown, PA) including process, project, and controls engineering, responsible for the successful design of the control system for the SSCL ASST-B magnet test system; responsible for the control system design, programming, and testing of control systems including single loop controllers, PLCs and DCSs for multi-million dollar process plant installations; specification and purchasing of system valves, instrumentation, and controls

    Senior Mechanical Engineer (Robert W. Herring)

  • Education - BSME, Pennsylvania State University, 1991

  • Experience - Seven years experience as a mechanical engineer in the cryogenic and industrial gas industry. Two years of mechanical engineering experience at ANSUTECH responsible for all mechanical designs and review of Japanese specifications, drawings and P&ID's for for various code compliance at installations in the U.S. and other countries. Three years experience at Gardner Cryogenics responsible for the mechanical and thermal design of vacuum insulated and gas/liquid shielded cryogenic containers piping and transfer lines. Extensive experience in the mechanical and thermal design of vacuum insulated cold boxes, warm process skids, vacuum insulated and liquid/gas shielded piping and containers, perlite cold boxes, and ASME vessels and B31.3 piping. Five years of "hands on" fabrication experience of cryogenic vessels, piping and equipment

    Senior Designer (Robert H. Moyer)

  • Experience - Twenty years experience as draftsman and designer in the cryogenic and industrial gas industry. Seven plus years experience designing and detailing with AutoCAD and AutoCAD based software. Eight years experience at CCI Cryogenics (CCI) as Senior Designer preparing detailed fabrication and assembly drawings for vacuum insulated cold boxes, warm process skids, vacuum insulated piping, ASME pressure vessels, heat exchangers, expansion engines, field piping, electronic and pneumatic control panels

    Designer (Domenico Pompa)

  • Experience - One year experience as a draftsman and designer in the cryogenic and industrial gases industry with Cryo Technologies preparing detailed fabrication and assembly drawings for vacuum insulated cold boxes, warm process skids, regeneration skids, oil removal systems, heat exchangers and other miscellaneous piping systems. Eight years with ABEC Inc. as a designer and draftsman in the bio-technologies equipment manufacturing industry. Lead mechanical designer in charge of developing fabrication and assembly drawings for bio-reactors and bio-fermentation piping systems. Seven years plus experience designing with AutoCAD software.
