A Little Spanish for the Road...We recommend that you spend a little time with these pages, or other Spanish materials, before your trip. The number one comment that we hear from group members is that they wish they knew more Spanish so that they could speak with their Honduras family. Most travelers do not think about how the language difference will affect their trip before they go, and are overwhelmed with the barriers it presents. If at all possible, try lo learn a few words or phrases that will help you have a short conversation with a Honduras. We have also posted the plan of salvation in both English and Spanish. Print a copy of each to take with you on your next trip to Honduras (or your next trip to the grocery store!)
