Searching for Ropens, Living Pterosaurs in Papua New Guinea (2nd edition)

Book review and comments for the book Searching for Ropens (by Whitcomb), from readers of the first edition  of  the  book (seven readers of the cryptozoology book) This is the official SFR site.

Although the web site Pterosaurs Still Living does not have any book review on the main page, this is one of the best online sites on living pterosaurs (including the ropen and indava). (Free)

Illustrated Encyclopedia of Pterosaurs is a traditional approach, based on the axiom of ancient extinction. One of these Amazon.com book reviews, however, (not this book) does mention the ropen (an apparently living pterosaur). (See Searching for Ropens.)

Another Amazon.com set of book reviews, is on the cryptid book Searching for Ropens — Living Pterosaurs in Papua New Guinea. Almost half of the reviewers give this cryptozoology book five stars: those who don’t seem to be upset about the religious tone (Christian foundation).

Another book review of Searching for Ropens (this book is reviewed on a Creation web site: Creationwiki.) The author is Jonathan Whitcomb, who also wrote the scientific paper An Evolutionary Boundary. (not published in book form but avail-able online)
