Daleks back on tv and the big screen...with KitKat!

In July 2001, British tv and cinema viewers saw the return of the daleks, helping to advertise a famous chocolate snack from Nestle

Above: Who said a six foot, three inch slightly bulky operator can't operate a dalek?! This Genesis dalek comes apart into various sections, which have to be repositioned once operator Chris is inside. The ad, shot at a shopping centre in South London, had a string of well known UK celebs doing or saying something completely out of character. The familiar slogan 'Have a break, have a Kit Kat' was used at the end. The sequence opens and closes with peace-loving daleks in a shopping centre

DO YOU HAVE AN ORIGINAL DALEK?

If you own an ORIGINAL dalek prop, one that was seen in a BBC Doctor Who original series, or one that appeared in either of the two cinema films starring Peter Cushing, please get in touch, by emailing dalektable@aol.com. Please don't email with queries on measurements and design details of props in my collection, or to request props for exhibition or event use, as I cannot help you.
